Newsletter - August 2017

It’s been a busy time of year for me and I've been hidden away working hard to bring you this very exciting announcement. I've been working hard to develop my own brand of hand knitting yarn!

After many months in development I'm getting ever closer to revealing my 100% British made yarn. It’s going to be the perfect luxury blend of British Blue faced Leicester wool and super soft British Baby Alpaca.

It's so new it doesn't even have a name yet!

It's still early days but I couldn't wait to share this exciting news with you. It's going to launch initially as a Chunky and a Double knit weight, in 3 natural shades .

My new yarn will be supported with new designs and will also work with my existing designs. Watch this space!

KAL - SUMMER 17

My first KAL launches with this newsletter, download the pattern below, choose your yarn and join us from Wednesday the 9th August!

For those who haven't come across it before KAL is short for Knit-a-Long. The idea being everyone knits together at their own pace but can check in with each other for tips, words of encouragement and sharing their progress along the way.

Our first project is intended to be a quick, easy knit for a knit now, use now concept. Who wants to knit for Winter when the sun is shinning? (Ok if you live up North as I do, we’ve seen very little sun this Summer but I’m optimistic!)

Get creative and add your own personal touch to the project . Gauge and scale can all be manipulated to get very individual results.

I’ve deliberately created this pattern to work in any yarn though a solid cotton would work best. You could even work this in recycled t-shirt yarn or garden string as I have!

This design was chosen by my facebook friends, and I'd encourage you to join the chat for news and reviews of future KALs
