About me 

I'm Jo Storie and I've been a practicing knitwear designer in the fashion industry for over 25 years. I worked for both large scale global brands and small luxury brands in the UK and the USA; being fortunate to design and direct for iconic brands such as Tse Cashmere, J.Crew, Johnston's of Elgin and Ann Taylor.

What can I do for you?

I'm able to bring my industry knowledge and creativity to all aspects of design and product development to support your knitwear project. Depending on your requirements, I'm able to create knitwear collections to suit most budgets and methods of manufacture, specialising in premium knitwear manufacture including made by hand.

I'm able to translate trends into brand appropriate designs, source suitable raw materials, help you arrange your supply chain and make recommendations on methods of manufacture.

 

My studio is also able to generate and manage technical packages from the development stage through to production, including fit comments, lab dipping and stitch development. With my extensive experience sourcing and liaising with factories and mills in the U.K, Italy, China and India we can work to ensure that you don't make the costly mistakes that many business looking to launch a knitwear collection make.
