This is a generous fit cardigan with a show stopping cable trim. The easy shape shows off the beauty of the yarn as it drapes well and gently softens the stitch work.

Ability: Intermediate 

Skills Required: You will need to work basic knit and purl stitches, and work a simple cable.

Yarn Type: Any Chunky weight yarn

Yarn Shade: I've used Mink M564 but you can use any shade you like!

Yarn Weight: Chunky / bulky, I used Rowans Cocoon 80% Wool, 20% Mohair MADE IN BRITAIN in chunky weight, 9 x 100g balls/ 1025m/1135y 115m/126y per 100g

Sizes to Fit: This is a roomy silhouette with positive ease, intended to be a slouchy fit. Our model is a slim UK 10 and she's wearing a size 2
Size One Chest 82-92cm / 32-36in
Knitted measurements approx: width 48cm / 19in, length from shoulder 64cm / 25in
You will need 8-9 balls/skeins, meterage approx 920m – 1025m, yardage approx 1007y – 1121y 

Size Two
Chest 97-102cm/ 38-40 in
Knitted measurements approx: width 122cm / 48in, length 69cm /27in 
You will need:9-10 balls/ skeins, meterage approx 1025m-1150m, yardage approx 1121y – 1258y

Size Three
Chest 107-112cm / 42-44 in
Knitted measurements approx: width 62cm / 24.5 in, length 73cm /88in 
You will need: 10-11 balls/ skeins, meterage approx 1150m-1265m, yardage approx 1258y -1383y

*Yarn usage per size (100g balls 115m/126y) 100g (approx 145m / 159yds) Balls (100g 115m/126y). If you intend to substitute this yarn make sure you have checked the meterage per ball to get the correct amount

Materials Required: 
One pair of 7mm (US 10)
Cable needle
Stitch Markers 
Tapestry needle for sewing up.

In Pineapple st using 7mm (US 10 ½) needles: 14sts x 22 rows over 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in)

Tensions are provided should you wish to substitute an alternative yarn to that suggested by us. Please ensure you knit a tension square to check that the yarn is suitable as not all yarns will give a like for like result.
