Skills Required: You will need to be able to work in fairisle and intarsia and be able to follow a pattern chart.
Yarn Type: I used Rowan Purelife 100% British wool
Yarn Shade: Colour A - Steel Grey Suffolk, Colour B - Mid-Brown Jacob
Yarn Weight: Chunky / Bulky

Knitted measurements approx: width 53cm / 20½in, length 214cm / 84¼in
You will need: Colour A (Steel Grey Suffolk) 7 balls/ skeins, Colour B (Mid Brown Jacob) 3 balls/ skeins
*100g (approx 110m / 120yds).
Yarn amounts are based on average requirements and are approximate. You may wish to order an extra ball/skein to be sure you have sufficient yarn.

You will need:
One pair each of 6mm (US 10) and 7mm (US 10.5) straight needles
Tension:
13 sts x 16 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in st st using 7mm (US 10½) needles.
